The first ruthenium(II) complex with benzotriazole and pyridylcarboxylato ligands |

| Abstract: | The reaction of RuCl2(PPh3)3] with 1-(2-pyridylcarbonyl)benzotriazole has been examined. A new ruthenium(II) complex–RuCl(PPh3)2(C6H5N3)(C5H4NCO2)] has been obtained and characterized by IR and UV–Vis measurements. The crystal structure of the complex has been determined. The electronic spectrum of the complex has been calculated by TDDFT method. |
