| Abstract: | Charged donor-acceptor [3]catenanes comprising the pi-accepting cyclobis(paraquat-4,4'-biphenylene) and pi-donating aromatic crown ether macrocycles have been prepared in high yields using thermodynamically controlled dynamic nucleophilic substitution. |
