Abstract: | Multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT)/polyaniline (PANI) composite films with good uniformity and dispersion were prepared by electrochemical polymerization of aniline containing well-dispersed MWNTs. The results of transmission electron microscopy (TEM) show that aniline can be used to solve MWNTs via formation of donor–acceptor complexes. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) revealed that the well arrangement of PANI-coated MWNTs in these films facilitated improved electron and ion transfer relative to pure PANI films and this may be due to the strong interaction between MWNTs and PANI. |
