| Abstract: | A method of ultimate precision in flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry (FAAS) and appli-cable practice are introduced in this peper. A very accunde reading can be made by this method' Twostandards are made:one is slightly below and another is slightly above the sample absorbance,the difference between the sta-ndards is small (say 0. 10 Abs)- Zero is set uste the low standard and l. 000Abs with the high standard by expansion factor. It has been applied to the determination of Au. Theresults showed that it has a good accuracy and pricision of determination. The RSD was only 0. 2% -0. 1 % in the range of x -xx ug/mL for Au. it is simple,practical. |
