| Abstract: | The reaction of oxidative addition of -iodothiophene and bromopentafluorobenzene to zero-valent lanthanides has been carried out. The formation of organolanthanide derivatives RLnX (R = -C4H3S, C6F5) has been confirmed by isolation of the corresponding RSnPh3 resulting from the interaction of RLnX with Ph3SnCl. The reaction of lanthanide with C6F5Br is sensitive to the nature of the metal. |
