| Abstract: | Conclusions
 -3,4-Epoxy-2-caranone and-3,4-epoxy-5-caranone when treated with MeOH in acid medium undergo rearrangement of the bicyclo4.1.0]heptane structure to the menthane structure, which was observed previously in the reactions with HCl.
