Abstract: | This paper deals with a viscoelastic–viscoplastic model for semi-crystalline polymers in crash applications. A polymer behaviour model is implemented in the commercial PAM CRASH© code thanks to a user material card. Global variables (load, displacement) and local variables (strain) are validated on flat and notched tensile specimens by comparing the numerical responses with data obtained by digital image correlation. |
