| Abstract: | A method is proposed for the synthesis of 2,3,3a,8a-tetrahydrofuro2,3-b]indole derivatives; the method is based on the reaction of 3-alkyl-3-acyl-γ-butyrolactones with N1-substituted arylhydrazines in acidic aqueous alcohol media. |
