REGULARIZATION OF SINGULAR SYSTEMS BY DERIVATIVE AND PROPORTIONAL OUTPUT FEEDBACK |

| Abstract: | Abstract This paper examines the problem of regularization related to singular systems by derivative and proportional and combined derivative and proportional output feedback. A sufficient and necessary condition is given, which ensures that derivative and proportional output feedback can be constructed such that the closed loop system has a given form and is also regular and has index at most 1. This condition shows that the derivative output feedback can transform the singular systems into completely controllable and observable standard systems. Proportional and combined derivative and proportional output feedback can implement the regularization of singular systems with index at most 1. Finally, the problem of state feedback pole placement is also investigated.The construction procedures of feedback matrices are numerically stable. |
