| Abstract: | An isothermal-jacket calorimeter was used to measure the enthalpies of the reactions of CeCl3(cr) and LaxCe1?x CoO3(cr) (x = 0.80, 0.85, 0.90, and 0.95) with a 2m hydrochloric acid solution. Based on these values and published data, the standard enthalpy of formation of LaxCe1?x CoO3(cr) was calculated for the above x values at 298.15 K. |
