| Abstract: | The kinetic features of the reaction of aromatic nitroso oxides (ArNOO) with tri-n-butyl phosphite and substituted phosphines were studied by flash photolysis. It was shown that the trans-isomers of nitroso oxides enter into the reaction. The mechanism of the reaction was studied by theoretical methods, and
the inertness of the cis-form of ArNOO was explained. |
