| Abstract: | The application of bioassays is the recent trends in the detection of chemical and biological warfare agents (CBWAs) . Enzyme-based assays and enzyme-based biosensors have been widely used in the detection of CBWAs Nucleic acid probe assays are available for a variety of bac teria and viruses. and it could provide a rapid means to detect biological agents.Immunoassays and immunosensors for the detection of CBWAs are the important current research work in a number of laboratories related to chemical defence. Receptor-based biosensors could be used for identification of agent classes, and are considered as the monitors of CBWAs in the next century. |
