Modules with Involution for Algebraic Groups

Abstract

Let k be an algebraically closed field of characteristic ≠2 and let G be a connected, reductive algebraic group with involution θ ∈ Aut(G). A (G, θ)-module is a rational G-module with a compatible action of θ. The purpose of this note is to classify the irreducible (G, θ)-modules.
