Relationships between Allerhand and Schleyer's G scale and other solvent polarity and acidity parameters |

| Abstract: | Values of Allerhand and Schleyer's solvent G parameter for 36 solvents have been correlated with solvent polarity—polarizability properties as well as parameters of solvent acidity. The equations found permit the extension of the G scale to more solvents and quantification of the influence on G of both solvent polarity—polarizability and acidity. |
