Raman and infrared studies of NaLa(MoO4)2:Nd3+

Abstract:
The polarized Raman and i.r. (powder) spectra of 0.5 mole % neodymium doped NaLa(MoO4)2 have been analysed on the basis of C4h crystal symmetry. Group theoretically predicted fundamentals have been observed. The frequencies and intensities are not altered due to doping.
