SOME PROPERTIES OF GALTON-WATSON BRANCHING PROCESSES IN VARYING ENVIRONMENTS

Abstract:This article deals with some properties of Galton-Watson branching processes in varying environments. A necessary and sufficient condition for relative recurrent state is presented, and a series of ratio limit properties of the transition probabilities are showed.
