| Abstract: | 5-Aryl-1-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrobenzoa]phenanthridines were synthesized by cascade heterocyclization of the corresponding substituted benzaldehydes with 2-methylcyclohexanone and naphthalen-2-amine in a polar solvent in the presence of hydrochloric acid. |
