摘    要:介绍了一种用于制造光纤的高掺硼石英材料的性能.简单回顾基本的工艺条件和关键工艺参数之后,主要讨论材料性能,如玻璃结构、折射率、粘度、热膨胀系数和残余应力等.另外还介绍了两种高掺硼光棒的性能.

Abstract:This paper is a summary of glass material highly doped with boron which is synthesized by means of the updated PCVD process and subsequently converted into optical fiber. Following a brief overview of the fundamental process conditions and control parameters, material properties, such as glass structure, refractive index, viscosity, expansion coefficient and residual stress, are mainly discussed. Two kinds of optical fiber preforms highly doped with boron are also introduced in this paper.
