Synthesis, spectral characteristics, and crystal structure of the hexanuclear complex MeSi[η1,η5-C5H4(CO)2Fe(η1,η5-C5H5)Mn(CO)3]3

Abstract:The reaction of MeSiCl3 with 3 equivalents of LiC5H4(CO)2Fe(η15-C5H4)Mn(CO)3 afforded the hexanuclear complex MeSiη15-C5H4(CO)2Fe(η15-C5H5)Mn(CO)3]3. The structure of the resulting complex was established by1H and13C NMR and IR spectroscopy and by X-ray diffraction analysis. Dedicated to the memory of Academician M. I.
