Abstract: | The reaction of MeSiCl3 with 3 equivalents of LiC5H4(CO)2Fe(η1,η5-C5H4)Mn(CO)3 afforded the hexanuclear complex MeSiη1,η5-C5H4(CO)2Fe(η1,η5-C5H5)Mn(CO)3]3. The structure of the resulting complex was established by1H and13C NMR and IR spectroscopy and by X-ray diffraction analysis.
