| Abstract: | The configuration of the two isomers of 2-thienyl, and 2-furyl, 2,3-dichloro-4-methoxyphenyl ketone oxime is assigned by two methods, (a) A study of the chemical shifts induced in the nmr spectra by a lanthanide shift reagent, and (b) by chemical correlation. The results are used to determine the configuration of the isomers of the corresponding diethylaminoethyl ethers. |
