| Abstract: | 13C n.m.r. spectra of various halo-bicyclo3.2.1]octan-3-ones and 7,7-dimethylbicyclo3.1.1]heptan-3-ones are described. It is possible to correlate in an empirical way the α and γ effects with the geometric features of these molecules. Thus, the reflex and anti-reflex effects can be studied by 13C n.m.r. spectroscopy. |
