| Abstract: | The rearrangement of the C20, C22-epoxide ( 3a ) catalyzed by BF3 · Et2O was investigated. The structures of 10 products obtained in this reaction ( 1a, 1b, 10, 11, 12 or 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 ) were determined and the mechanism discussed. |
