Abstract: | Experimental data on the detonation velocity of aluminized explosives and the temperature of the material behind the shock wave front in condensed media, including aluminum-oxidizer mixtures were examined. It was demonstrated that the oxidation of aluminum to the highest oxide behind the front of shock and detonation waves is limited by the dissociation of aluminum oxides at temperatures above 3.5 kK. |
