| Abstract: | Cyclopropanation of the title compounds is possible under certain conditions (CH2I2---Sm (Hg)) in special cases, but epoxidation is apparently a general reaction which occurs readily in a stereospecific manner when they are treated with m-chloroperbenzoic acid. |
