The aldolase activities of crude rat tissue extracts were separated by starch gel electrophoresis. Aldolase was located on the gel by a specific staining method. Nine bands of different electrophoretic mobility were stainable by this technique. Organ specific isoenzyme patterns could be demonstrated.
