| Abstract: | The electron response of a Ca(001) face-centered cubic film to an external electrostatic field is calculated. The results of calculations are compared with the previously obtained data on the electron response of a Cu(001) film. The energy location of occupied and unoccupied excited surface states of the Ca(001) film is determined. |
