Abstract: | In the paper, we proposed a Pro/Engineering-based (Pro/E-based) geometric design method of transmission window of infrared scanning system. Firstly, we established the 3-dimensional (3D) system model. Secondly, we assembled the 2-dimensional (2D) scanning mirror in the system according to its nine positions. Thirdly, according to optical path reversibility, we modeled two cylinders to respectively simulate the emitted and rejected rays. And the rejected cylinder intersects the shell to form a curve to indicate the scope of the incident ray. The geometrical parameters of the window can be determined by the smallest bounding curve of all nine intersecting positions. The successful development of the image-spectrum integrated instrument prototype verified its feasibility and correctness. |
