Abstract:Ruthenium-catalyzed olefin cross-metathesis reaction is one of the most efficient methods for the construction of C=C bonds. In the past few years, much attention has been paid to their application to the synthesis of fine chemicals, natural products, polychemistry, and industry. In this paper, we summarize the most recent progress of olefin cross-metathesis reactions as well as their applications to organic synthesis.
