| Abstract: | The stereoselective syntheses of 2-substituted and 2,6-disubstituted 3-hydroxypiperidine alkaloids, (+)-isofebrifugine and (-)-sedacryptine, from a common, functionalized nonracemic bicyclic building block are achieved, demonstrating the flexibilty of the approach. |
