| Abstract: | New, bifunctional, bridgehead-substituted triptycenes were synthesized and used to prepare a series of triptycene polymers, including polyesters, polyamides, polyurethanes, and a polyoxadiazole. Certain of these partially aliphatic polymers were thermally stable. Clear and colorless films were obtained in some instances. |
