| Abstract: | 18-O-Methylchaenorpine ( 1a ) and iso-18-O-methylchaenorpine ( 1b ) two novel stereoisomeric spermine alkaloids were isolated from the roots of Aphelandra tetragona (VAHL ) NEES. Their structures were established by chemical and spectroscopic studies. |
