| Abstract: | An automated colorimetrie procedure is described for the determination of aluminium, based on its complex with Xylenol Orange. Ethanol is used to accelerate the reaction and EDTA to mask iron. The procedure has been applied successfully to natural waters, soil extracts and plant digests. |
