Some Observations on the Stability of Uric Acid in Alkaline Solutions |

| Abstract: | Abstract The stability of uric acid in alkaline solutions has been studied by spectrophotometric, enzymic and chemical methods. Aqueous triethanolamine was shown to maintain stability of uric acid for a range of concentrations at around 2O°C and to considerably reduce the degradation loss at the higher temperature of 37°C. |
