INDIRECT ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROMETRIC METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATION OF ARSENIC

Abstract

An indirect atomic absorption spectrometric method for arsenic has been developed on the basis of heteropoly chemistry. Molybdoarsenic acid is formed, extracted and stripped by a basic buffer solution. The resulting molybdate, which is equivalent to a specific amount of arsenic, is determined by atomic absorption spectrometry.
