Differential Pulse Polarographic Determination of Organochlorine Pesticides

Abstract

A method is described for the determination of organochlorine pesticides using differential pulse polarography. Using tetrabutyl ammonium bromide as a supporting electrolyte eight compounds of the three classes of organochlorine pesticides were determined in water. These are α-HCH; β-HCH; γ-HCH; o,[pacute]-DDT; p, p,[pacute]-DDT; aldrin dieldrin and endrin. the reliable application of the method for determination of endrin in a formulation has been established.
