Abstract: | Abstract The utility of hydrous zirconium oxide for the separation of metal ions has been explored. The Kd-values from different concentrations of chloride ions(pH-2) have been determined. On the basis of the sorption data Pd (II) and Tl (III) have been quantitatively separated from a number of metal ions. The representative elution curves are given and the recovery of the metal ions is reported. |
