Application of Ion-Exclusion Chromatography to the Study of Equilibria of Anionic Complexes

Abstract

An ion-exclusion chromatographic method for the determination of a stability constant of an anionic metal complex has been devised. The stability constants (1og β₁) of magnesium diphosphate and magnesium triphosphate complexes at 1=0.1 and 15°C were evaluated to be 5.06 and 5.89 in sodium chloride solution.
