Mass Spectrometry of Trimethylsilyl Derivatives of Substituted Salicylanilides

Abstract

The mass spectrometry of a series of trimethylsilylated substituted salicylanilides is reported. Information from trimethylsilyl-dg isotope labeling experiments and high resolution mass measurements were employed to ascertain the structure of fragment ions. The influence of substituent groups on the fragmentations is reported.
