On The Analysis of Procaine Hydrochloride By Diazotisation and Coupling Reaction

Abstract

N-(1-naphthyl) ethylene diamine dihydrochloride, thymol, α-naphthol and β-naphthol are used as coupling agents for the determination of diazotised procaine hydrochloride in pure form and in pharmaceutical preparations. All the experimental conditions have been adjusted, the effect of interferring substances, sensitivity and the validity of the procedure have been studied.
