Abstract: | We propose a method of solving the problem of the stress state of an anisotropic plate with holes of arbitrary shape. The
method is based on approximating the boundary of a region by curved boundary elements. These elements are taken to be a family
of semi-ellipses. To satisfy the boundary conditions we use the pointwise least-square method. Numerical experiments showed
good agreement of the computations with results known earlier.
