| Abstract: | The electrochemical behaviour of some pyrazolone derivatives has been studied in aqueous and ethanolic media. beta-Diketone compounds with a labile hydrogen atom on carbon atom 4 are directly reducible in neutral ethanol; phenazone derivatives have to be diazotized. Pulse polarography is suggested for determination of these derivatives in pharmaceutical preparations. |
