| Abstract: | Dissolved oxygen in water is determined by its oxidation of manganese(II) to manganese(III) in alkaline medium and formation of the red manganese(III) ethylenediaminetetra-acetic acid complex on acidification to pH 4. The range of determination is 7-3160 mug of oxygen in a final volume of 500 ml. |
