| Abstract: | Copper(II)-trifluorothenoylacetone complex in chloroform does not undergo decomposition when scrubbed with sodium hydroxide solution. This allows the complete removal of the residual reagent, and a highly sensitive method for the extraction and spectrophotometric determination of copper(II) results. |
