| Abstract: | Summary The general and analytical strategy for a monitoring project for various chemical elements, nitrate and some halogenated organic compounds in milk, beef, pork, potatoes, lettuce, cabbage, apples and strawberries within the activities of official food control in the Federal Republic of Germany is outlined.
