| Abstract: | Digital filters can be used to remove interferent and background spectra features from ion mobility spectra. A finite impulse response digital filter is used to improve the detection limit of bis-2chloroethyl sulfide when it is in the presence of an interferent species. Preliminary investigations on the use of narrow-bandpass digital filters for extracting signals of interest from other signals in IMS spectra are described. |
