Abstract:Multiwavelength absorbance ratio difference spectrophotometry as a new methodto determine two-component mixed system was used to assay caffeine and sodium benzoateinjection. The average recoveries and relative standard deviations of caffeine and sodium benzoatee were 99.89%, 0.76% (n = 5); 99.75%,0. 64% (n=6), respectively.It is shownthat this method is simple and rapid, requiring small amount of sample, with satisfactory result.
