| Abstract: | Amethod based on two scale relations to compute the discrete integral wavelet transform(IWT) is given. The idea is to construct filters for each “voice” directly, and can beaccurate as required. By this method, the computational complexity would have nothing todo with the wavelet scaling factor. The method to construct filters for each “voice” is discussed indetail. Finally, and example and the filters are presented. |
