| Abstract: | It was found that products of the interaction of Nessler reagent with ethylenediamine and other aliphatic polyamines are insoluble complexes of different composition and soluble colored complexes. The latter are formed only in the presence of ammonia and can be used for the determination of polyamines in water with a detection limit of ～1 × 10?6 M. |
