| Abstract: | The nonlinear amplitude-tuning characteristic of a CO2 laser with discharge-current modulation was investigated by mean of numerical simulation. It is shown that in the general
case the magnitude and shape of the laser response depend on the ratio between the frequency of the pump modulation and the
fundamental resonance frequency of the laser.
