| Abstract: | The first-order Raman spectra of FeS2, MnS2 and SiP2 are measured at room temperature. The frequencies of all Raman-active phonons are obtained. We describe the displacement patterns and discuss the extent to which the concept of a molecular crystal can be applied. |
